Most construction sites, and nearly all industrial sites, are required by the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) to manage stormwater runoff from their sites. All industrial sites in Alabama are required to control stormwater discharges from their property and processes through Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans.
