As of November 16, 2010 Alabama Renovators must register with the Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH) through the Alabama Lead Based Paint Activities Accreditation Program. Training taken under EPA regulations prior to January 1, 2011 will be accepted as part of the registration process.
STATE REGISTRATION IS A 3 STEP PROCESS
1. Successfully completing training from an Alabama Approved Renovator Training Provider
2. Register as an INDIVIDUAL using the Lead Renovator & Sampling Technician Application
3. Get your FIRM Registered with the Alabama Department of Public Health
IMPORTANT CHANGES!: WIth the implementation of the new immigration law the Alabama Department of Public Health has additional forms that will need to be completed for your firm registration. To avoid delays in step three please be aware of this change and choose the correct form for your business.
