Professional Development Hours for the 2017 SEEC Conference
Professional Engineers and Geologists can earn Professional Development Hours (PDHs) at the conference. Engineers must
keep their own records, including a marked copy of the agenda. Items of attendance
include their paid receipt and their name badge. Geologists must keep their own records,
including a marked copy of the agenda. Items of attendance include their paid receipt
and their name badge.
Certified Hazardous Materials Managers (CHMMs) can earn 1 Certification Maintenance Point (CMP) for each hour of contact time, maximum of 5 CMPs per day up to 20 CMPs per conference. CHHMs are responsible for their own recordkeeping and must keep their name badges and agendas.
Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC) Technical sessions have been reviewed and are appropriate for the following sessions: Joe's Branch, Acquisition and Restoration Efforts in the Turkey Creek Watershed, Wetland 101, Sustainable SITES, Partnerships and Strategic Habitat Conservation, Development and Implementation of Species Recovery in Alabama, Toward a State Water Management Plan, Metro Atlanta's Water Story, Preventing the next Flint ( CPSWQ PDH points), How Automation is Helping Farmers to Grow Better Crops, Food Water Energy Nexus Regional Panel, CWA Section 404 Permitting, Water Division Regulatory Updates from Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia and USEPA
Alabama Electrical Board can earn 1 CEU per electrical breakout session (New Technology, How It Will Affect Your Future) for a total 1 CEUs for the one electrical breakout sessions.
Alabama Bar Association is pending approval.
Mississippi Bar Association is pending approval.
Georgia Bar Association is pending approval.
Certified Water and Wastewater Operators are approved for 8.75 CEHs.
National Registry of Environmental Professionals can earn continuing education (CE) at the conference. Under (Category I): certificate of completion or outline of program with cancelled check or attendance roster must be kept by you and submitted for your hours.
Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available for the conference. The conference is value at 12 contact hours or 1.2 CEU’s for full attendance.
