Consultation and Technical Assistance:
Individuals, institutions, and businesses
may request technical assistance regarding the identification and
remediation of asbestos, lead-based paint, molds, fungi, and other
indoor air quality hazards. Our staff can provide telephone assistance
and provide technical, regulatory, or other documents to address specific
problems. Additionally, on-site assistance is available to help owners
determine if additional outside assistance is needed.
Safe State continues to serve as a primary technical assistance source
for schools in Alabama regarding asbestos testing, remediation, and
regulatory compliance assistance.
