Introduction & Overview
Safe State Environmental Programs helps individuals, schools, institutions, and businesses to identify and manage lead-based paint hazards, asbestos, and indoor air hazards. Environmental Programs includes:
Consultation and technical assistance
, through training, outreach, and on-site consultation.
Environmental laboratory services
, including identification of asbestos and lead, and hazardous waste characterization.
English-Spanish translation and bilingual training
related to occupational and environmental safety and health.
Accreditation of individuals who engage in the detection and remediation of
asbestos
and
lead-based paint hazards.
Practical research
regarding the sampling, identification, quantification, and remediation of environmental hazards.
Indoor air quality assessment and remediation
, especially as related to children's health.
