For The Accident That Never Was

The child wasn't harmed by hazardous materials in his school and home. The construction worker didn't die in a fall. And our waters are cleaner. Through training classes, consultations and certifications, UA SafeState and its partnering companies, are making Alabama healthier, safer and cleaner. That’s good for Alabama and good for us all.

For The Accident That Never Was

Hazards including lead-based paint, asbestos and mold sometimes lurk in Alabama’s homes, schools and businesses. But they do not have to harm us.

At UA SafeState, our goal is to reduce illnesses caused by environmental hazards. We achieve this by working with organizations, large and small, to find cost-effective solutions to their environmental and occupational safety and health issues.

Our state’s success largely depends on our quality of life.  In addition to the home, family and personal safety tips shared on this page, here are some of the other things UA SafeState is doing to lead the way:

  • On-site consultation
  • Training classes
  • Certification programs
  • OSHA Training Institute Education Center
  • Conferences & research
