Course Description:

A functional EMS is crucial when seeking a competitive advantage and gaining the trust of stakeholders. This course will use the globally accepted standard, ISO 14001, as a template for developing a successful EMS.
Any company can benefit from this course, whether or not they are seeking or have ISO 14001 certification. The EMS concepts presented are universal to any company striving to be compliant with regulations and to be more environmentally friendly.
Day 1 of the course will be an auditing workshop where we take a clause-by-clause look at ISO 14001.
Day 2 will focus on environmental compliance and provide an overview of the environmental regulations that apply to your facility.
