About Our Program

The UA SafeState Environmental Accreditation Program is the Alabama state agency for lead and asbestos accreditation. The accreditation team accredits individuals and training providers in the lead and asbestos disciplines. We also certify lead abatement firms on behalf of the Alabama Department of Public Health.
