The University of Alabama was designated as an OSHA Training Institute Education Center in January 2008. Since that time we have provided general industry, construction industry and maritime industry training in OSHA standards; the Outreach Trainer and update courses; and more in-depth training on specific topics such as – accident investigation, confined space, excavation and trenching, fall protection, industrial hygiene, machine guarding, recordkeeping, safety and health management, silica and more.
PLEASE NOTE: Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT) via Zoom is intended for persons who are previous customers or reside or work within the OSHA Birmingham Region which includes Alabama, Arkansas, Florida Panhandle, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee. If you live or work outside of this region and are not a previous customer, we encourage you to seek training within your Regional Authorized OTI Education Centers. Cancellation Policy Effected June 1, 2023
A cancellation charge of 100% of the registration fee will be assessed on cancellations occurring within seven (7) days of the start of this session. Refunds will not be granted after the program has begun. The University of Alabama reserves the right to cancel, postpone or combine class sections, to limit registration or to change instructors.
